Maxi Dolphin signed the agreement with Nakhimov

With the expansion of the international nautical market and the constant growth of the Russian market, Maxi Dolphin is pleased to announce their version in the Russian language of the website www.maxidolphin.it which will access information related to activities of the boatyard.

It has just been confirmed that, on 19th March 2012, Monaco-based brokers Nakhimov Yachts www.nakhimov.com signed an agreement with Italian builders Maxi Dolphin to represent them in both the Russian and Monegasque market sectors.

Maxi Dolphin, who are known among the yachting cognoscenti as creators of exclusive and successful racing and cruiser-racing sail-boats and for the construction of a niche range of equally exclusive motor yachts of 15,16 and 20 meters, for which Nakhimov will have central representation.

Nakhimov is considered the benchmark for the Russian market for the superyachts; he is well known for overseeing the construction of Heesen superyacht Quinta Essentia, the biggest yacht ever built at the shipyard and which is one of many projects such us Bliss, My Petra and Lady L.

In an interview, Nakhimov director Sergei Dobroserdov explained: “In meetings with founder Vittorio Moretti and the current CEO Marco Ramundo, it was decided to focus on a small range in the popular 50 to 90 foot sector, whose individual hand-crafted features and exclusive finish, are aimed to virtually guarantee them a desirability-factor akin to owning a Rolls Royce or Bentley motor car”. “Although this may seem overly ambitious at the outset” he continued, “remember there will always be a market for the discerning few with the means to realize their good taste, which is basically what this project is all about”.

Vittorio Moretti, is himself a similar individualist and, while it is generally known that Maxi Dolphin was the result of his original search for a competitive racing sailboat to be used on the ICAYA Circuit, other interests encompass a passion for the finer things in life, even to the production of award-winning wine Bellavista.

While comprehensive details of this new operation are yet to be released, Nakhimov will have the 15 meters MD51 available in Monaco throughout the summer for inspection and sea-trials.
