The first MD51 Power in a Cruiser version has been recently launched: the official presentation to the boating world will take place at the Festival de la Plaisance of Cannes (6-11 September 2011). The sixth version of the MD51 Power, designed by Roberto Starkel, is a fully customized motor yacht, offering an elevated cruiser performance for medium-length voyages.
The exterior area features a cockpit with an extremely spacious and comfortable sun bed area with additional space below to lodge the tender that comes complete with a small carbon fibre crane for towage. The cockpit features an adjustable carbon fibre table with two positions: one suited for sun beds and the other ideal for meals. Independent access to the crew cabin is located to the left of the broadside. A highly efficient mini-kitchen has been obtained next to it which features a teppanyaki griddle, counter, sink and refrigerator.
The interior presents an extremely spacious and elegant owner’s cabin with a walk-around bed and a comfortable bathroom split into three areas: toilette, shower and sink. The dinette area features a hi-tech kitchen with an L-shaped sofa as well as another large sofa on the right broadside.
One of the additional highlights of this motor yacht is the creation of another cabin that is one-of-a-kind: when there are guests on board, a second cabin can be obtained by closing off the dinette’s right side with two sliding envelope partitions and raising the sofa’s backrest, obtaining two comfortable bunk-beds.
