Anticipating what would become a widespread market demand, in 2006 Maxi Dolphin launches the Maxi Dolphin MD33, a daysailer where the refined layout of great formal elegance combines with last generation waterlines and with equipment worthy of a racer

Not only, since the MD33, fully interpreting the philosophy of this kind of boats, is conceived in the pursuit of easy sailing and she can therefore be sailed by one person only. Constructed with composites and with the traditional attention to detail, the MD33 has few riggings, a large cockpit and a teak deck, realized as every component by Maxi Dolphin's craftsmen; moreover she provides all the space to live sailing in a comfortable way. The sail plan is made up of full batten mainsail, furlable genoa and 90 sqm gennaker on the bowsprit, which can be pulled out from the cockpit.
