Maxi Dolphin MD90 by Harry Miesbauer

Semi Custom Racing and Cruise Sailing Yacht designed by Harry Miesbauer

This project was born from a precise request that Ocean Independence, brokerage leading society, made to Mr. Harry Miesbauer, young and well-known designer, for a high speed, modern, reliable performance cruiser, able to win races and, above all, beautiful!

A real “tourer” of the sea, characterized by high performances that require very high level construction and technologies standards, top quality refined sea interiors conceived thanks to a savvy mix of craftsmanship and design.

With these features, both Ocean Independence and Harry have come to the decision that Maxi Dolphin should have been the shipyard.

The design of this  90’  is characterized by the refined purity of the lines and shapes that, as Harry Miesbauer himself says,  recalls “the most elevate tones of a Steinway piano”.

Realized with carbon and glass composite materials, with Sprint technology and pre-preg, it is equipped with a hi-tech sail plan with a carbon mast, all done in order to have a super light displacement (46 ton), Maxi Dolphin nautical culture main principle, shared by the ship owners.

MD90 extreme versatility makes it very easy to drive while cruising, also with a small crew, while during the regattas it offers real racer performances.

The rich interiors, conceived in order to optimize the space, include the ship owner’s cabin, 3 guests double cabins and 2 crew cabins, with bunk beds.

All the cabins have their own bathroom, with separate showers and also the crew cabins have their own private bathroom.

A vast saloon, divided into dining, living room and kitchen complete the division of the spaces.

Being anyway a semi-custom project, the ship owner has many choices of deciding together with the shipyard the modifications that will make the boat match exactly his needs.
