Luca Botter, commercial manager for Sail division and
Piergiorgio Ventura, technical manager of the Boatyard.
Maxi Dolphin specializes in the construction of purley
custom saling yachts that are characterised by innovation and permormance building material use.
Over the last 25 years of experience, Maxi Dolphin put toghether a state-of-the-art technology knowledge throughout an intense activity of Research and Development and working in a tight cooperation with our experts network. Some examples of our production are Farr 73’, Farr 92', Frers 77', Frers 118’, Brenta 65’,
Tripp 75'.
Since 2007 Maxi Dolphin has started the production of his first power boat using, in an innovative way. the experiences and technologies that are peculiar of the sailing yachts. From this idea, MD 51' was born; an ultralight megatender with a very elegant design, built in Glass and Carbon fibre.
Currently,
Maxi Dolphin is continuing its studies and researches into new materials for racing yachts. The results of these studies will also be used in the production of fast cruising yachts, in which special attention, appropriate to the high quality level of the materials used, will also be paid to the internal finishes, inboard systems and equipment. Nevertheless, even though dedicating itself to experimenting new projects, Maxi Dolphin has no intention whatsoever of abandoning the production of its serial boats for which it has become so well-known.
The
Boatyard extends over an area of 2,700 square metres and is located near to the Milano/Venezia motorway (Rovato exit), thus making access and transport on special vehicles that must easier. The Boatyard employs approximately 30 people, included the staff of the Technical Office, wich is supported by a lot of valued free lance advisers.
Maxi Dolphin is, therefore, capable to manage the construction of the serial boats and of the large one-off and also the development of the new projects. Maxi Dolphin has also installed a furnace for prepreg materials (up to 36 metres of length and 10 metres of width) with an electronical temperature regulation system up to 120° depending of the used materials. All this means that
Maxi Dolphin is an all-round Boatyard perfectly able to produce any type of boat, including those constructed using the most up-to date composite materials.
