Winner of the ‘Sailing Yacht 2020’ at The International Yacht & Aviation Awards organised by ‘Design et al’, a leading international design and interior design magazine, the MD75 by Mark Mills was launched in February 2019. Entirely made of Corecell sandwich and carbon fibre she is a super-fast cruiser that combines simplicity with lightness. Equipped with a lifting keel and square-top mainsail, the deck is completely clear of rigging, which is stowed under the deck with the winches positioned next to the two wheels. The interiors, designed by Nauta Design, have lightened sandwich fittings and panelling and are made with open-pore oak and light-coloured fabrics in a comfortable, “warm” style.
