In 2006, the year in which no fewer than 16 TP52-class yachts were launched, Maxi Dolphin and Luca Brenta launched their project for the Austrian team C- Quadrat kicked off the previous year. In the construction in composite materials and pre-preg carbon fibre with a Nomex core and baking in the oven at 85°C Maxi Dolphin brings all their technical experience using the most advanced technologies. Luca Brenta-Maxi Dolphin’s TP52 with the name Astro made its racing debut in the 2006 Breitling Cup circuit.
