Designed by Roberto Starkel, the MD51 Power echoes the design and outline of motoryachts from the 1930s, while the construction represents a breakthrough in the industry. The MD51 Power does in fact fully capitalize on all the qualities and potential of composite materials to reduce weight and therefore, while delivering the same level of performance, limiting engine power with significant savings in fuel consumption and related pollutant emissions. Construction is made via the Sprint system on a pre-preg fiberglass and epoxy resin female mold, CoreCell core and oven post-cured. They same system but with carbon fiber is used for the deck. The engines, that are always aimed at maximum efficiency, are two 435-hp Volvo Penta IPS600s.The custom layout has made it possible in the various units built so far, to opt for a variety of cockpit and interior configurations, with one or two double cabins and different living areas, combined with interior designs to meet the specific needs of any owner.
